A Father Found Out What His Wife Did To His Daughter At The Party

The bright daylight streamed through the tall glass windows, illuminating the polished white marble floor of the grand living room.

In the center of the hall, Mark stood with his dark suit jacket unbuttoned, his chest heaving as he held his blonde-haired seven-year-old daughter, Lily.

Lily was sobbing hysterically, burying her tear-stained face into his neck, her tiny arms trembling as she held onto him.

Across from them stood Chloe, Mark's glamorous wife, wearing a dark satin dress and holding a glass of champagne.

Mark: WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY DAUGHTER?!

Chloe took a slow sip from her glass, her eyes scanning Mark's furious face before she smirked, shrugging her shoulders with total indifference.

Chloe: IT'S JUST A JOKE, STOP BEING DRAMATIC.

Mark: A joke?! She is crying uncontrollably, Chloe! She is terrified!

Chloe: Oh, please. Kids cry over everything. You're making a scene in front of my guests.

Standing behind Chloe near the grand archway, Evelyn, Mark's silver-haired mother-in-law, stepped forward in her formal gown, pointing her finger right at Mark's chest.

Evelyn: DON'T YOU DARE RUIN MY PARTY!

Mark: Your party?! Your daughter just tormented my child!

Evelyn: This charity gala cost over fifty thousand dollars to organize! Lower your voice this instant!

Mark's face contorted in pure emotional anguish, tears brimming in his red, bloodshot eyes as his jaw clenched tightly.

Mark: YOU CALL THIS A JOKE?!

Chloe: Mark, seriously, put her down and go change into your tuxedo. People are starting to stare at us.

Mark: Nobody is going anywhere.

Mark set Lily down gently on her feet, placing his hand on her shoulder before turning his gaze toward the doorway.

Near the entrance stood a metal umbrella rack, and resting inside it was a solid wooden baseball bat.

Mark reached down, his fingers wrapping forcefully around the heavy wooden grip, pulling it out with a sharp metallic clink.

He stepped right into the center of the bright living room, raising the bat high above his shoulder.

With a deafening crash, Mark slammed the baseball bat down onto the hardwood coffee table between his wife and mother-in-law, shattering the glass top into a thousand sparkling pieces.

Both women jumped back, gasping in complete shock as the room fell dead silent.

Mark: NOW... THE PARTY IS OVER.
