Arrogant House Owner Fired Maid Not Knowing The Child Was Hers

The bright morning sun streamed through the massive glass windows of the grand entrance hall, illuminating the polished marble floors and towering white walls of the luxury mansion.

Thirty-two-year-old Clara knelt on the cold floor, carefully wiping down the baseboards with a soft damp cloth, her hands steady despite the exhaustion wearing on her.

Nearby, six-year-old Leo sat quietly on a velvet bench, holding his small wooden toy car and watching his mother work.

Victoria: Why is that child sitting in my front hallway?

Victoria's sharp heels clicked loudly against the marble as she stepped down the grand staircase, her dark satin blouse gleaming under the bright lights.

Clara: Good morning, Mrs. Sterling. Leo's school bus doesn't pick up for another fifteen minutes. I kept him right beside me so he wouldn't be in anyone's way.

Victoria: I don't pay you to turn my home into a daycare center, Clara. This is a private estate, not a community shelter.

Clara: I understand, ma'am. He's being very quiet, I promise.

Victoria: I don't care if he's silent as a mouse. He doesn't belong here.

Victoria reached down with a sudden, harsh grab, snatching Leo's small arm and pulling him violently off the bench toward the heavy front doors.

Victoria: YOU DON'T WORK HERE ANYMORE! GO NOW!

Leo: NO! DON'T TAKE HER AWAY!

Leo sobbed hysterically as Victoria wrenched his small arm away from Clara's uniform, his small shoes slipping on the slick marble surface.

Clara leaped up from her knees, her eyes wide with explosive, ferocious rage as she sprinted across the hall.

Clara swung her hand back with full power and slapped Victoria hard across the face with a loud, violent crack.

Victoria stumbled back against a white pillar, clutching her stinging, reddened cheek in absolute shock and horror.

Victoria: YOU SLAPPED ME?!

Clara pulled Leo safely behind her back, her body shaking with furious protective instincts as she pointed a fierce finger directly into Victoria's face.

Maid: YOU CANNOT DO LIKE THIS! SEPARATE ME FROM MY SON AGAIN AND YOU WILL REGRET IT!

Leo: MOMMY!

Leo hugged his mother tightly around her waist, burying his face in her uniform as Clara held her ground with unyielding courage.

Humiliated and trembling, Victoria turned and fled through the front doors into the bright daylight, leaving the mother and child standing together in the sunlit hall, completely unaware of the dark family secret about to be exposed.
