The Police Arrive

Arrogant Matriarch Brutally Slaps And Throws Young Woman From Balcony Before Dramatic Rescue banner

Dispatcher: 911 emergency, what is the exact location of the incident?

Marcus: Vance Manor, 400 Oakridge Estates. We need an ambulance and local police immediately.

Dispatcher: What is the nature of the emergency, sir?

Marcus: Attempted murder. An older woman just pushed a young female off the fourth-floor terrace.

Dispatcher: Units are already dispatched to your location. Keep the victim conscious.

Marcus: Understood. Hurry, her ankle is severely fractured and she's in shock.

The wail of distant sirens began to echo through the tree-lined avenues surrounding the sprawling Oakridge estate. Chloe gripped Marcus's sleeve, her knuckles white as adrenaline slowly gave way to the sharp throbbing of her injured leg. Marcus unbuttoned his cuffs, rolling up his sleeves to create a makeshift cushion for her head using his discarded suit jacket. The courtyard remained deathly quiet except for the rustle of autumn leaves blowing across the manicured lawn. Upstairs, the heavy velvet curtains of the master suite remained firmly shut, hiding the frantic occupants within. Marcus kept his eyes locked on the terrace doors, knowing that local law enforcement would breach the main entrance within minutes.

Chloe: Marcus... what if her legal team delays the arrest warrants?

Marcus: They won't have time. Federal marshals have already frozen all of Eleanor's corporate assets.

Chloe: She looked right at me as I went over the railing. She wanted me dead.

Marcus: And she's going to pay for every single second of this terror behind iron bars.

Chloe: My father trusted her for twenty years... how could he have been so blind?

Marcus: Wealth makes monsters out of ordinary people when they realize their grip is slipping.

Two black-and-white police cruisers turned sharply into the main gravel driveway, their emergency lights flashing brilliant red and blue. Uniformed officers spilled out of the vehicles immediately, their boots crunching loudly against the gravel path as they rushed the courtyard. Marcus raised his free hand to signal their exact position near the boxwood hedges, shouting to guide their approach. The lead officer sprinted across the grass, unholstering his radio to call in medical support for the injured woman.

Police Officer: Step back, sir! Let the paramedics through!

Marcus: I'm her legal counsel. She was just pushed off that fourth-floor balcony up there.

Police Officer: Pushed? By whom?

Chloe: Eleanor Vance... my stepmother. She's still inside the penthouse suite.

Police Officer: Got it. Officer Davis, secure the north terrace stairwell right now!

Officer Davis: Copy that! Moving to secure the upper balcony access!

Paramedics rushed past with a rolling stretcher, lifting Chloe with practiced care while securing her leg in a rigid splint. Marcus stood up beside them, his tailored suit stained with grass and dirt from breaking the miraculous fall. He watched the medical team wheel Chloe toward the ambulance, offering an encouraging nod as she was loaded inside. The police captain walked over to Marcus, pulling out a small notepad to record the initial witness statement. The trap was fully set, and the inner sanctum of the Vance family mansion was about to be turned upside down by the law.
