Richard: Vanessa, get your bag. We're leaving.
Vanessa: I'm not going anywhere with you! You're broke! You can't even afford my apartment rent next month!
Richard: That apartment was leased under my corporate account! You're getting evicted tomorrow morning anyway!
Vanessa: WHAT?! You evicted me from my own apartment?!
Richard: The bank is freezing all corporate assets, you idiot! Everything attached to my name is being seized by noon today!
The surrounding crowd of wealthy shoppers whispered loudly, pointing their phones at the couple as the dramatic scene played out in the middle of the showroom floor.
Customer 1: Did you hear that? The Vance family was living on fake loans this whole time!
Customer 2: And that awful woman was screaming at a child who actually owns the whole place!
Customer 3: Serves them both right. She deserved that slap!
Vanessa turned her head sharply toward the crowd, her red cheek burning with deep shame under the bright lights.
Vanessa: Stop filming me! Put those phones away right now!
Marcus: You are in a private commercial building, Miss Vance. You have no expectation of privacy here.
Vanessa: I'm going to sue this dealership! I'm going to sue you, Marcus, and I'm going to sue this brat's trust fund!
Two heavy-set security guards in black uniforms walked through the front entrance, stepping directly behind Vanessa and Richard.
Guard 1: Mr. Vance, Miss Vance, please step toward the exit.
Richard: Don't touch me. I can walk out on my own feet.
Richard turned toward Leo one last time, his face pale and sunken with defeat.
Richard: Your grandfather was a ruthless man, kid.
Leo: My grandpa was fair, Richard. You were the one who tried to cheat him when he got sick.
Richard: I was trying to save my family's legacy!
Leo: You can't save a legacy with stolen money.
Richard bowed his head in silence, turning and walking out through the massive glass doors. Vanessa stood frozen for a second, trying to smooth down her blue silk dress, but the security guards stepped closer, firmly guiding her toward the exit.
Vanessa: Keep your hands off me! This dress costs thousands of dollars!
Guard 2: Move along, ma'am.
Vanessa stumbled as she was escorted through the sliding glass doors, her high heels scraping against the concrete entrance as the heavy doors slid shut behind her, locking her out for good.
Marcus: Are you alright, young master?
Leo: I'm fine, Marcus. Thanks for stepping in.
Marcus: It is my duty to protect your family's honor, Leo. Your grandfather would be very proud of how you handled yourself today.
Leo stepped out of the black sports car, shutting the heavy door and looking around the quiet, sunlit showroom.
Leo: Let's get back to work, Marcus. We have a company to run.
