Arthur: You are standing in the way of my guests.
Chloe: I am sorry, sir. I was just looking at the ice sculpture.
Arthur: I don't care what you were looking at. Move.
Chloe: I didn't mean to block the path.
Arthur: Do you even know whose mansion you are standing in?
Chloe: I am a guest of the charity foundation, sir.
Arthur: A charity case, you mean. You don't belong at this banquet.
Arthur adjusted his expensive navy suit. He glared down at the teenager in the gold dress.
Chloe: My mother works very hard. We were invited by the board.
Arthur: The board made a mistake. You are ruining the aesthetic of my party.
Chloe: You don't have to be so mean.
Arthur: Excuse me? What did you just say to me?
Chloe: I said you are being mean. I am just a kid.
Arthur: You are an insolent little brat who needs to learn respect.
Chloe: Don't talk to me like that.
Arthur: I am the CEO of this estate. I will talk to you however I please.
Chloe: Money doesn't give you the right to bully people.
Arthur: I don't bully people. I put them in their proper place.
Chloe: Well, you are a terrible host.
Arthur: That is it. I am having security throw you out into the street.
Chloe: Go ahead. I don't want to be in your stupid mansion anyway.
Arthur: You ungrateful little wretch!
Arthur stepped forward, his face flushed red with sudden anger.
Chloe: Don't touch me!
Arthur: Someone needs to teach you some manners!
Arthur raised his hand. The sharp sound of a heavy slap echoed across the silent banquet hall.
Chloe gasped. She lost her footing in her small heels and tumbled to the polished marble floor.
