Groom: That's impossible! Nobody filed charges yet!
Officer Miller: Your former business partner in Chicago turned himself in two hours ago, Mr. Vance. He gave up your entire scheme.
Jessica let out a sharp scream from the third row as a second officer stepped over to place her in handcuffs.
Jessica: Brandon, you said we were safe! You said his partner wouldn't talk!
Groom: Shut up, Jessica! Keep your mouth shut!
Officer Miller: Turn around and put your hands behind your back, Mr. Vance.
The steel handcuffs clicked shut around Brandon's wrists with a loud, sharp snap that echoed through the quiet chapel.
Groom: Sarah! Tell them to stop! We can fix this! I'll surrender all rights to the estate! I won't ask for a single dollar!
Bride: You don't have any rights to surrender, Brandon.
Groom: Please, Sarah! I'm begging you! Don't let them ruin my life!
Bride: You ruined your own life the second you decided to steal from my family and scream at a helpless child.
The officers grabbed Brandon's arms, dragging him down the white silk runner where he had walked proudly just twenty minutes earlier.
Groom: Sarah! Look at me! Sarah!
Sarah turned her back on him, picking up Lily in her arms and holding her close against her bridal gown as the guests watched Brandon get shoved into the police cruiser outside.
Guest 3: What an absolute monster!
Guest 4: Thank God that little girl had her camera on!
Sarah's father walked over, putting his arm around Sarah and Lily as the crowd broke into warm, supportive applause.
Sarah's Father: You are so strong, my girl. I am so proud of you.
Bride: I'm just glad the truth came out before I said 'I do,' Dad.
Sarah's Father: Now, let's get everyone out of this church and turn this wedding reception into a giant family celebration.
Lily: Can we have ice cream, Uncle Richard?
Sarah's Father: You can have all the ice cream in the city, sweetheart!
