Protective Mother Intervenes As Cruel Matriarch Attempts To Strike Young Girl

The grand ballroom was bathed in bright daylight, glittering chandeliers catching the sun as music echoed through the hall.

Serena: Look at her walking around like she belongs here.

Victoria: She doesn't belong here, Serena. Everyone knows it.

A fair-skinned woman named Eleanor walked elegantly across the marble floor in a shimmering gold gown, her eyes searching the crowd.

Eleanor: Has anyone seen Lily? She was supposed to stay near the stage.

Guest: I think she ran toward the catering tables, Mrs. Vance.

Near the edge of the hall, an older woman named Victoria stood towering over a young crying girl dressed in a soft white dress.

Victoria: YOU LITTLE PIECE OF TRASH!

Lily: I... I didn't mean to bump into you! I was looking for my mom!

Victoria: You spilled punch on my vintage lace dress, you clumsy brat!

Lily: Please, I'm sorry! Don't be mad!

Victoria raised her heavy hand high into the bright air, aiming a sharp slap right at the young girl's face as surrounding guests gasped in horror.

Victoria: Someone needs to teach you a lesson!

Eleanor turned abruptly, her gold gown swirling around her legs as her eyes locked onto the scene.

Eleanor: No!

Eleanor darted across the floor, reaching out just in time to catch Victoria’s wrist firmly mid-air before her hand could strike the child.

Victoria: Let go of me! How dare you lay a hand on me!

Eleanor tightened her grip, her expression turning into fierce, unyielding command in the clean, bright daylight.

Eleanor: DON'T TOUCH MY DAUGHTER, OR YOU'LL LOSE EVERYTHING!

With a powerful shove, Eleanor pushed Victoria backward, sending the older woman sprawling across the polished marble floor.

The crowd gasped as Victoria hit the ground with a loud thud, looking up in shock at the woman in gold towering over her with cold authority.

Eleanor: YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHO YOU'RE MESSING WITH!

Victoria gasped for air, struggling to sit up on the smooth floor as her face turned pale under the chandeliers, realization dawning that this confrontation was only the beginning of her undoing.
