Protective Mother Intervenes As Cruel Matriarch Attempts To Strike Young Girl banner

Julian: Are you okay, Eleanor?

Eleanor: I'm fine, Julian. I just need to get Lily out of these clothes and check her knee properly.

Julian: Let's go up to the private suite on the third floor. I'll have the medical staff meet us there.

Lily: Uncle Julian... is that mean lady gone forever?

Julian: She is gone for good, sweetheart. She will never come near you ever again.

They walked up the grand staircase away from the murmuring crowd, heading into the quiet, sunlit executive wing.

Inside the plush private suite, a paramedic gently applied a clean bandage to Lily's small scraped knee.

Paramedic: All done, little girl! Just a tiny scrape. You're good to go!

Lily: Thank you!

Eleanor: Thank you so much.

The paramedic packed up his kit and left the room, leaving Eleanor, Julian, and Daniel standing by the window.

Daniel stepped forward, his eyes full of shame as he looked at Eleanor.

Daniel: Eleanor... I don't even know what to say. I am so deeply sorry for my mother's actions.

Eleanor: You don't have to apologize for her, Daniel. You did the right thing by handing over the security tapes.

Daniel: I've spent years covering up her temper tantrums and bullying. Today was the final straw.

Julian: You saved us a massive headache in court by providing clear video evidence, Daniel. The company owes you a debt of gratitude.

Daniel: I don't want gratitude. I just want to make sure she never hurts another person again.

Eleanor: What will happen to her firm now?

Daniel: Without the Vance acquisition, her company will file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy by the end of the week. Her board of directors is already preparing a vote to remove her as CEO.

Julian: A complete collapse in less than an hour.

Eleanor: Pride always comes before the fall, Julian. She thought her wealth gave her the right to crush anyone beneath her.

Lily ran over, wrapping her small arms around Eleanor's waist.

Lily: Mommy, can we go home now? I don't like the big ballroom anymore.

Eleanor: Yes, my love. We're going home right now.
