The Eviction From The Mansion

Victoria: I will hire the best defense lawyer in the state! You have no proof the bag is mine!

Arthur: We have interior security cameras in the kitchen, Victoria. I had them installed when Lily was a toddler.

Victoria's eyes went wide with pure panic, her hand dropping from her red cheek as the reality of her situation finally hit her.

Victoria: The cameras in the kitchen... they are active?

Arthur: They record twenty-four hours a day directly to a secure cloud server.

Victoria: Arthur, baby, listen to me. We can work this out privately. We don't need the police.

Arthur: Do not call me baby. You make me sick to my stomach.

Arthur pointed a sharp, commanding finger directly at her face, his eyes burning with total contempt.

Arthur: GET OUT OF MY HOUSE BEFORE I CALL THE POLICE!

Victoria: You can't throw me out! All my expensive designer clothes are upstairs in the master suite!

Arthur: Thomas, take a trash bag upstairs and throw her cheap clothes onto the front lawn.

Thomas: With immense pleasure, Mr. Arthur.

Victoria: You are ruining my life! Where am I supposed to go?!

Arthur: I hear the state penitentiary provides free housing and meals. You won't even have to cook your own soup.

Victoria: You will regret this, Arthur! No other woman will ever want a sick, deaf old man!

Arthur: I'd rather be deaf and alone than married to a greedy snake.

Harrison: Security! Escort this woman off the property immediately. If she resists, restrain her for the authorities.

Two massive private security guards in black suits stepped forward from the edges of the room, grabbing Victoria firmly by the arms.

Victoria: Get your filthy hands off my sequin dress! Do you know how much this cost?!

Guard: Walk toward the door, ma'am. Do not make this difficult.

Victoria: I am leaving! Let go of me!

Victoria ripped her arms away from the guards, turning on her high heels and fleeing rapidly toward the front of the hall.

She pushed her way through the bright glass doors, running out into the daylight in absolute disgrace as the guests watched her escape.

Harrison: I will contact the police chief directly, Arthur. We will have a warrant for her arrest by tonight.

Arthur: Make sure you give them the security footage and the plastic bag, Harrison.

Harrison: Already done, sir. I'll secure the estate planning documents as well to ensure she has no access to the trust fund.

Arthur: Thank you, Harrison. Please tell the guests that the party is officially canceled.

Harrison: Of course. Everyone, please head toward the valet station. Thank you for your understanding.

The wealthy crowd slowly began to filter out of the luxury hall, whispering furiously to each other about the massive scandal they had just witnessed.

Arthur stood in the center of the empty marble floor, his chest heaving as the adrenaline slowly started to wear off.
