The Eviction

The Maid Who Blocked the Billionaire's Slap banner

Victor: Thank you.

Vanessa: Where am I supposed to go? I gave up my apartment.

Victor: That is not my problem.

Vanessa: You are kicking me out? Today?

Victor: Your job here is done. You have exactly one hour to pack your bags.

Vanessa: I need more time! I have hundreds of designer dresses.

Victor: Anything left in this house after sixty minutes goes into the trash compactor.

Vanessa: You are a monster!

Victor: No, Vanessa. I am just a man protecting his family.

Vanessa stared blankly at him. She realized she had just lost the billionaire lifestyle, the private jets, and the mansion.

Vanessa: I will ruin you in the press. I will tell them you are abusive.

Victor: I have the video of you attempting to strike my mother. Go to the press, and I will release it to every news station in the country.

Vanessa: You wouldn't.

Victor: Try me.

Vanessa let out a frustrated scream. She turned and stomped down the hallway in her maroon gown.

Victor watched her go, his expression cold and completely dismissive.

He turned back to Maya, who was kneeling next to the wheelchair, adjusting Helena's blanket.

Maya: I am sorry if I caused a scene, Mr. Sterling.

Victor: You have nothing to apologize for, Maya.

Maya: I shouldn't have grabbed her so aggressively.

Victor: She was only protecting my mother. You did exactly what I pay you to do.

Maya: Is Mrs. Sterling alright?

Victor: She will be fine. Thanks to you.

Helena: The mean lady is gone now.

Victor: Yes, Mom. She is gone for good.

Victor: Maya, your salary is being doubled effective immediately.

Maya: Sir, that isn't necessary. I was just doing my job.

Victor: It is entirely necessary. Loyalty and courage are very rare in this house. You have both.

Maya: Thank you, Mr. Sterling.

Victor: Now, let's get my mother out to the garden. I think she has had enough of the hallway for one day.
