Karina: Those aren't mine! I've never seen that brown duffel bag before in my life!

Alejandro: Your name is printed right on the luggage tag, Karina.

Karina: Anyone could have put my name on that tag! Your mother is paranoid!

Alejandro: My mother can barely walk to the bathroom by herself! How did she get forty prescription bottles into her own bed?

Alejandro leaned down, grabbing one of the loose purple bottles off the wet sheet and holding it directly in front of the phone camera.

Alejandro: High-dose liquid sedatives. Prescribed under a fake medical license number from an offshore clinic.

Karina: I am a certified private healthcare nurse! I followed every single instruction your family gave me!

Alejandro: My family never asked you to give her sedatives!

Karina: Your sister did!

Alejandro froze, his bloodshot eyes locking onto Karina's face as the room went dead silent, save for his mother's weak, labored gasps.

Alejandro: What did you just say about my sister?

Karina: Sophia hired me six months ago! She told me what medication to give her every single afternoon!

Alejandro: You're lying to save your own skin!

Karina: Check her text messages on my phone! She paid me ten thousand dollars in cash every month to keep your mother bedridden!

Elena: Alejandro... she... she took my keys...

Elena's fingers tightened around Alejandro's sleeve, her wet skin shivering under the cool evening air blowing through the window.

Alejandro: What keys, Mom? What did she take from you?

Elena: The safety deposit box... in the study...

Karina: She doesn't know what she's talking about! Her mind is completely gone!

Alejandro: Where are the keys to the family trust, Karina?!

Alejandro stepped forward, his massive frame towering over the nurse as he pointed his phone straight at her face.

Karina: Step back from me! I'll call my lawyer right now!

Alejandro: Call him! Call your lawyer and tell him you were caught on camera poisoning an eighty-year-old woman for money!

Karina: I didn't poison anyone! It was just a mild sleeping aid so she wouldn't wander out of the house!

Alejandro: Forty bottles isn't a sleeping aid, Karina. That's a death sentence.

Karina backed toward the bedroom door, her eyes darting frantically toward the dark hallway.

Karina: You can't prove anything in a court of law! Sophia signed the medical authorization forms!

Alejandro: Sophia doesn't have power of attorney over my mother's estate. I do.
