Clara: Let go of my wrists! You're hurting me!

Victoria: Be quiet, Clara. Stand up straight and act like a member of this family.

Evelyn: Release her right now, Victoria! I am warning you!

Victoria: Or what, Evelyn? What are you going to do with no money and no lawyer?

Evelyn: I will call the police and report an assault! I have the mark on my face to prove it!

Victoria: Go ahead and call them. The local chief of police plays golf with Julian every single Sunday. Who do you think they will believe? A bitter ex-wife with a failing business or the matriarch of a billionaire family?

Julian: She's right, Evelyn. You really don't want to start a legal war you can't afford.

Evelyn: You brought your own sister to her knees, Julian! Have you no shame at all?

Julian slowly set his phone down on the glass side table. He stood up, smoothing down his navy silk pajamas, and took a slow step toward the center of the room. His face was completely blank, showing no warmth or family connection.

Julian: Shame doesn't pay the property taxes on a fifty-million-dollar mansion, Evelyn.

Clara: You sold out dad's memory for money?

Julian: Dad was a dreamer. He left behind huge debts and complicated trust fund allocations. Mother and I fixed his mistakes.

Evelyn: You didn't fix anything! You altered his will!

Victoria: That is a slanderous accusation!

Evelyn: I know the truth! Arthur told me everything before he died in that hospital room!

Victoria's face turned pale for a split second before her calm mask slammed back into place. She tightened her grip on Clara's wrists, making the girl wince in pain.

Victoria: Arthur was delirious on medication. Anything he said was the rambling of a dying man.

Clara: He wasn't rambling! He handed me a blue folder the night before he passed away!

Julian: What blue folder?

Clara: The folder with the real life insurance policies and the original trust agreement!

Victoria: Where is that folder, Clara? Tell me where it is right now!

Clara: I will never tell you!

Victoria raised her hand again, her diamond necklace flashing in the sunlight. Evelyn rushed forward, throwing her weight into Victoria to push her away from Clara. The two older women stumbled back into a heavy mahogany table, sending a glass vase crashing to the floor.

Julian: Enough! Both of you stop this right now!

Evelyn: Clara, run to the front door! Get out of here!

Victoria: Guards! Lock the iron gates outside! No one leaves this property!

Clara scrambled to her feet, her silk robe torn at the hem. She looked at her mother, who was desperately holding Victoria back near the shattered glass. Julian moved swiftly to block the main hallway exit, his casual mood replaced by a cold, sharp glare.

Julian: You aren't going anywhere until we find that document, Clara.

Clara: Step out of my way, Julian.

Julian: Make me.

Clara: You think you've won, but you have no idea what dad actually wrote in that will.

Julian: I don't care what he wrote. Mother and I control the accounts now.

Evelyn: You won't control them for much longer!
