Evelyn: You... you set this up from the very beginning!
Damien: I knew you were planning something the moment you invited us on this yacht, Evelyn.
Julian: We're ruined! We're completely ruined!
Julian ran down the stairs, tossing his legal folder over the side of the yacht into the deep water below.
Damien: It's too late for that, Julian. The Coast Guard saw everything on high-definition cameras.
The cutter pulled up alongside the luxury yacht, its engines roaring as armed officers prepared to throw boarding lines over the railing.
Coast Guard Officer: Attention on the vessel! Secure your engines and prepare to be boarded immediately!
Damien: Over here! We have an injured person below deck!
Evelyn turned toward the stern, trying to run toward the lower cabins, but two male guests quickly stepped into her path, blocking her way.
Guest 1: You're not going anywhere, Evelyn.
Evelyn: Get your hands off me! I own this vessel!
Guest 2: You don't own anything anymore.
Three Coast Guard officers climbed over the teak railing, their boots clicking firmly against the deck.
Coast Guard Officer: Who is the captain of this ship?
Damien: The captain is in the bridge, Officer. I am Damien Vance. My mother was drugged and held in the engine bay.
Coast Guard Officer: Where is your mother now, sir?
Damien: She's near the rear platform. Let me take your medical team to her.
Damien led two officers down to the swim platform, where Eleanor was sitting resting against a cushioned bench.
Coast Guard Medic: Ma'am, can you hear me? I need to check your pupils and blood pressure.
Eleanor: I'm so dizzy... but my son saved me.
Coast Guard Medic: Her blood pressure is dangerously low, Officer. She needs an immediate IV line and transport to the hospital.
Coast Guard Officer: Understood. Get the stretcher ready on the cutter.
The officers helped Eleanor onto a secure medical gurney, transferring her carefully to the Coast Guard vessel.
Up on the main deck, another officer stood over Evelyn and Julian, placing heavy silver handcuffs around their wrists.
Evelyn: This is a misunderstanding! I am a wealthy widow! You have no right to touch me!
Coast Guard Officer: You are under arrest for maritime kidnapping, poisoning, and obstruction of justice, ma'am.
Julian: I want to make a statement! I was forced to participate! It was all Evelyn's idea!
Evelyn: You coward! You weak, pathetic coward!
Julian: She promised me two million dollars from the trust fund!
Coast Guard Officer: Save it for the federal judge in Miami, sir. Walk forward.
Damien stood near the deck railing, watching as the officers led Evelyn and Julian down the ladder in handcuffs.
The sun began to set over the open ocean, painting the sky in deep shades of gold and purple.
Damien stepped onto the Coast Guard cutter, sitting beside his mother's stretcher as the medic started her IV line.
Eleanor: Is it finally over, Damien?
Damien: It's over, Mom. They will never touch father's estate, and they will never hurt you again.
