Tyler: Marcus, please! I'm begging you! Think about your grandchild!
Marcus Sterling: I am thinking about my grandchild, Tyler. That is why I am ensuring you never have the opportunity to corrupt their life with your selfishness.
Tyler: I can change! Let me see Chloe! Let me talk to her!
Marcus Sterling: My daughter is currently at the hospital receiving a full medical checkup after the physical distress you put her through today.
Tyler: Is... is the baby okay?!
Marcus Sterling: The baby is fine. No thanks to you. Security, escort Mr. Vance off the premises.
Two tall security guards grabbed Tyler by his arms, dragging him backward through the boardroom doors as he screamed in desperation.
Tyler: ARTHUR! YOU PROMISED YOU WOULD STAND BY ME! MARCUS, PLEASE!
The doors slammed shut in his face. Ten minutes later, Tyler found himself standing on the sidewalk outside his former headquarters, his suit rumpled and his phone buzzing non-stop with notifications.
He tapped the screen. A text message from Tiffany appeared: "Don't ever call me again. I moved back to Miami."
Tyler let out a bitter laugh, shaking his head as he stumbled back toward his sports car. A red parking boot was clamped tightly onto the front wheel, alongside a repossession notice stuck to the windshield.
Tyler: No... no, no, no! Not my car too!
He kicked the tire in frustration, wincing in pain as his leather shoe hit the heavy steel lock. Left with no options, he called a rideshare and headed back to the mansion to retrieve his remaining clothes.
When the car pulled up to the front gates of the mansion, two large private security guards stood at the entrance, blocking the road.
Tyler: Let me in! I need to get my clothes and my watch collection!
Guard: State your name, sir.
Tyler: You know my name! I lived here for four years!
Guard: Mr. Tyler Vance is on the restricted trespass list. All personal belongings inside the home have been cataloged and turned over to the divorce receivership.
Tyler: You locked me out of my own bedroom?!
Guard: If you step past this gate, sir, we will arrest you for felony trespass. Have a good afternoon.
Tyler sank down onto the curb outside the massive black gates, burying his face in his hands as the reality of his total downfall sank in. He had lost his wife, his unborn child, his company, his money, and his home all in less than six hours.
