Wealthy Woman Scorned Her Son's Maid Not Knowing She Had His Heir

The bright morning sun streamed through the wide windows of the luxury mansion kitchen, turning the white marble counters into a brilliant sheet of light.

Clara stood by the massive stainless steel sink, tears streaming down her cheeks as she tried to wipe down the counter with trembling hands.

Evelyn: Stop crying and wipe those counters properly. I don't pay you to make a mess on my marble floors.

Clara: I am working as fast as I can, Mrs. Vance.

Evelyn: You aren't working fast enough. Look at this place. It's an absolute disaster.

Clara: Please, Mrs. Vance. My shift ended twenty minutes ago, and I need to go pick up my daughter from daycare.

Evelyn: Your daughter? You should have thought about that before you got yourself into this situation.

A heavy set of footsteps echoed down the grand hallway, and Liam walked into the kitchen carrying a black leather suitcase, his eyes wide with disbelief.

Evelyn: LIAM, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?

Liam: WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!

Liam dropped his suitcase onto the floor with a loud thud, stepping into the kitchen with explosive, fury-filled eyes as he confronted his mother.

Evelyn: Liam! You weren't supposed to be back from your business trip until tomorrow evening!

Liam: I caught an earlier flight because I wanted to surprise Clara. Why is she crying, Mom?

Evelyn: She's crying because she's incompetent and can't handle basic house cleaning duties.

Clara looked up from the sink, her voice trembling with heartbreak as she looked straight into Liam's eyes.

Clara: SHE TOLD ME I BELONG IN THE KITCHEN JUST BECAUSE I'M THE MOTHER OF YOUR DAUGHTER!

Liam's face hardened with intense rage, a single tear slipping down his cheek as he turned slowly toward his mother.

Liam strode forward with explosive power, swinging his hand back with full force and slapping Evelyn hard across the face with a loud, violent crack.

Evelyn stumbled back against the white marble counter, clutching her stinging, reddened cheek in absolute horror and shock.

Evelyn: YOU SLAPPED YOUR OWN MOTHER?!

Liam: HOW DARE YOU TREAT HER LIKE THAT! GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!

Evelyn gasped, backing away toward the hallway while holding her face, completely humiliated.

Liam gently wrapped his arm around Clara's shaking shoulders, pulling her close as Evelyn fled through the bright hallway into the afternoon daylight, leaving behind a family secret that was about to change everything.
