Victoria: Arthur, what took you so long? Did you get the boy out of the house?
Victoria stood near her large mahogany wardrobe, stuffing stacks of cash and gold bars into a leather travel bag.
Richard slammed the master bedroom door open, stepping inside with his fists clenched tightly at his sides.
Richard: Arthur isn't coming to help you, Victoria.
Victoria: Richard! You scared me! Why are you shouting?
Richard: Put the bag down.
Victoria: I'm just organizing my jewelry for our upcoming trip to Europe...
Richard: You're not going to Europe, Victoria. You're going to a state penitentiary.
Victoria's fake smile slowly faded, replaced by a cold, calculating stare as she set the leather bag on the edge of the king-sized bed.
Victoria: So, the weak little doctor broke under pressure, did he?
Richard: You poisoned my daughter! You kept her paralyzed in a wheelchair for two straight years for money!
Victoria: That fifty million dollars belonged to the Vance estate! And you were too soft to claim it!
Richard: It was Lily's money! She is my daughter! How could you do something so evil to an innocent child?
Victoria: Innocent child? She was a constant reminder of your first wife! Every time I looked at her, I saw her mother!
Richard: You are a psychopath, Victoria.
Victoria: Call me whatever you want, Richard. But you have no hard evidence. It's my word against a disgraced doctor's word!
Richard: We have the daily prescription logs, Victoria. And we have the chemical residue from the medicine bottles you stored in the private doctor's bag.
Victoria: A court fight will take years! By the time a judge looks at that evidence, my lawyers will have tied up every single one of your company accounts in litigation!
Richard: You think money can save you now? The police are already downstairs at the front gate.
Victoria lunged forward, reaching into her open wardrobe drawer to grab a small silver revolver. But before her hand could touch the metal, Richard stepped in and slammed the drawer shut on her fingers.
Victoria: Ah! My hand!
Richard: You will never hurt another person in this family again!
Richard grabbed Victoria by her wrists, holding her firmly as two state troopers rushed into the master bedroom with their handguns drawn.
State Trooper: Hands where we can see them! Step away from the drawer!
Victoria: Officers! Thank God you're here! My husband has completely lost his mind! He tried to attack me!
State Trooper: Save it for the judge, Mrs. Vance. Dr. Harrison just gave a full sworn confession downstairs in the foyer.
The officers clicked heavy metal handcuffs around Victoria's wrists, pulling her toward the door as she screamed curses at Richard.
Victoria: You'll rot in hell, Richard! You and that miserable little brat!
Richard: Take her out of my sight.
